We are looking for aSenior Mechanical Engineerto join our Plant & Process group. This role leads thedelivery of high-quality projectsfor internal, existing, and new clients, while buildingcommercial awarenessand taking responsibility forcoaching and technical developmentwithin the team.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the mechanical engineering delivery of Plant & Process projects across concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
  • Develop and review mechanical design deliverables including design criteria, calculations, equipment specifications, data sheets and material requisitions.
  • Produce and check mechanical design documentation such as layouts and general arrangements, plot plans, piping and equipment arrangements, and interface requirements.
  • Coordinate with process, piping, civil/structural, electrical/instrumentation and drafting teams to ensure safe, integrated and constructible designs.
  • Lead discipline planning, resourcing and technical governance on projects, including design reviews and ensuring quality to time and budget.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to define scope, clarify requirements, manage interfaces and deliver best-for-project outcomes.
  • Contribute to proposals, estimates and tenders by developing discipline scope, assumptions, schedules and inputs to pricing.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 10+ years relevant experience in plant and process mechanical engineering, ideally within consulting and/or owner-operator environments.
  • Background in one or more of: industrial mining, oil & gas, water/wastewater, or energy (renewables/hydrogen).
  • Strong understanding of applicable mechanical standards, codes and engineering practices able to interpret client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven capability producing high-quality calculations and technical reports, and performing thorough design checking/review.
  • Experience with rotating and static equipment packages (e.g., pumps, compressors, tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers) and/or bulk materials handling systems is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead discipline coordination and mentor junior engineers.
