Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead the full spectrum of marketing for Red Planet Hotels. This is a senior-level position focused not just on execution, but on designing and owning a long-term marketing vision that aligns with Red Planets growth, revenue, and brand strategies.
You will be responsible for crafting and driving the strategic marketing roadmap, encompassing brand direction, multi-channel campaign strategy, and the integration of data-backed insights to drive customer acquisition, direct bookings, and brand loyalty. This role requires a strong leader who understands the intersection between marketing, business performance, and customer behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own and define the marketing vision and roadmap aligned with Red Planets 35 year commercial and expansion strategy.
- Lead market positioning, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify growth opportunities in both existing and new markets.
- Act as the marketing thought partner to the C-suite, providing input on business strategy, digital transformation, and market expansion.
Integrated Marketing Strategy
- Architect a holistic marketing strategy across brand, digital, content, CRM, traditional, and partner marketing.
- Translate commercial goals (e.g., occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, loyalty) into integrated campaigns that generate measurable business results.
- Lead brand storytelling and value proposition evolution to deepen market relevance and customer trust.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Champion a performance marketing culture that leverages data, analytics, and A/B testing to continuously optimize efforts.
- Work closely with BI, revenue management, and digital teams to ensure marketing strategies are grounded in data and customer insights.
Digital Marketing Excellence
- Oversee advanced digital strategies with a strong focus on SEO, content performance, paid media, website optimization, and conversion rate improvement.
- Drive direct channel (website/app) growth to reduce OTA dependency and increase booking profitability.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Collaborate with key departments (Revenue, IT, HR, Operations) to align marketing efforts with overall business direction and operational capabilities.
- Support strategic initiatives such as hotel openings, rebranding, new product offerings, and loyalty program development.
Brand Architecture and Governance
- Strengthen brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, internal communications, and external partnerships.
- Manage creative direction, tone of voice, and the customer experience from awareness to loyalty.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Strategy, Communications, or related fields; MBA or masters preferred.
- 8+ years of marketing experience with at least 4 years in a strategic or senior leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading integrated marketing strategies that impact business KPIs.
- Advanced knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing, with deep expertise in SEO, analytics, and digital acquisition.
- Proven experience working in or with hospitality, travel, e-commerce, or multi-site consumer brands.
- Strategic thinker with a strong commercial mindset and ability to translate business needs into marketing outcomes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
