Job Overview

As the Senior Marketing Manager for our Cross-Border E-commerce Company based in the Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in driving our market presence and revenue growth across international borders. Your mission is to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that maximize customer acquisition, enhance brand visibility, and position us as a leader in the global e-commerce landscape. This position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in international marketing, a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, and the ability to lead a high-performing marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cross-border marketing strategy to expand our market reach, drive customer acquisition, and increase brand recognition on an international scale.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of performance marketing campaigns tailored for diverse international markets, with a focus on maximizing return on investment (ROI) and leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Lead the management and optimization of digital advertising campaigns, including pay-per-click, display, and social media ads, to effectively target and engage audiences across borders.
  • Drive content localization efforts, ensuring that marketing materials resonate with diverse international audiences. Collaborate with teams to adapt messaging, visuals, and campaigns to specific cultural nuances.
  • Implement robust search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) strategies to enhance our online visibility and attract a global audience.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for expanding our presence on global e-commerce marketplaces, optimizing product listings, and ensuring alignment with regional preferences.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess marketing performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports for senior leadership.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Provide guidance in aligning strategies with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer service, to ensure a unified approach to global market expansion. Actively participate in product launches and promotions.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, optimizing spending to ensure a strong ROI.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with external parties, such as strategic partners, advertising agencies, and media outlets, to execute impactful and cost-effective marketing campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of international e-commerce trends, regulatory changes, and compliance requirements. Integrate relevant advancements into marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior management role for cross-border e-commerce.
  • Proven success in developing and executing international marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and global consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in working with diverse cultures and adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the Philippine and international e-commerce landscape.
