Job Summary:
Responsible for setting procurement standards, guiding cross-functional purchasing activities, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency, and making informed approvals that support scalability, service continuity, and long-term value creation while providing strategic direction and oversight by leading high-value sourcing decisions, approving critical vendor engagements, and aligning procurement strategies with the organization's operational and growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures all contracts are reviewed, negotiated and executed in accordance with applicable processes and policies; monitor status and effectivity of relevant Master Services Agreements, Purchase Orders, and other relevant contracts in coordination with the requesting party and Vendor Point of Contact (POC)/ business owner, to avoid penalties, financial risk/loss or any legal repercussion.
- Create a Bid Analysis report, Cost Benefit Analysis and Supplier Performance Reports in order to evaluate each bid received, identify the most cost-effective and value-driven proposals, increase supplier diversity, and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of a supplier's contributions to the organization's supply chain.
- Identify and resolves discrepancies in PO and invoice processing, collaborates with vendors and internal teams to address issues, and suggests process improvements.
- Leads the continuous improvement of procurement processes by integrating advanced data analytics, automation tools, and best practices, drives cost optimization and total cost reduction while enhancing process transparency and compliance, partners with internal stakeholders to embed sustainability and ESG goals into operational procurement workflows.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or any related field.
- At least 8 - 10 years work experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain in a BPO environment.
- Expert knowledge in procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation, administrative and organizational skills and excellent ability to handle multiple projects.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier performance evaluation.
