General Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear understanding of our market, our products positioning, and what's important to our users in order to guide product development.
• Participate in Customer Development activities and identify use cases to allow products to scale.
• Have a clear understanding of the impact of our product/s on the main customer segments, on the company's overall business, including product P&L, strategy, and unit economics, and use this to inform prioritization decisions.
• Monitor product performance, analyze and come up with insights to come up with future initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, risk management, compliance, legal, finance, and operations to develop and steer the product roadmap towards achieving PDAX's objectives.
• Align teams on a shared vision and steer execution on that vision.
• Maintain a detailed and prioritized roadmap across the group.
• Be the primary point of contact for all aspects of product management and development within your group.
• Manage stakeholder expectations.
• Manage Product Managers.

Goals

• Manage assigned products roadmaps aligned with company strategy.
• Guide Product Managers towards achieving their respective products metrics.
• Ensure products achieve OKRs of the company.
• Identify skill gaps in the team and work with the Head of Product to come up with training programs.
• Mentoring Product Managers and reviewing their work.

Qualifications

Experience

• Fintech and Banking background highly preferred (e.g. Mass market, Remittance, B2B).
• Agile Development Process and familiarity in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• API Development, Mobile App Development, Web Development.
• Cryptocurrency, Blockchain and/or Traditional Finance ecosystems.
• 5-10 Years experience in Product Management, Engineering, QA, Business Analyst, Brand Management, Treasury roles.
• 3-5 years experience in managing teams.

Skills

• Confident at verbal and written communication.
• Shows empathy for user problems.
• Knowledge of Product Management techniques, such as Problem Discovery, Roadmapping, User Story writing, Prioritizing, Data Analysis.
• Understands financial statements, business models, revenue streams.
• Understands the value chains of multiple domains.
• Can break down problems into chunks and guide teams towards solving them.
• Able to mentor and coach people.
