POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting (F&A) within our Manila Business Services (MBS) team will partner with the Director, APAC Finance, and will report to the Executive Director, Philippines. The role leads end-to-end delivery and governance of core finance operations for Allegis Group businesses across APAC—including Procure to Pay, Finance Systems Support, General Accounting, and Statutory & Compliance—and drives service excellence, strong controls, and continuous improvement through a high-performing team. The role partners with APAC Finance, Regional Process Owners (RPOs), and MBS leaders to align process standards and governance and owns day-to-day execution, performance management, and local risk & control outcomes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer
- Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with stakeholders across APAC and MBS to support sustainable and scalable service delivery, while driving ongoing operational improvements.
- Set SLAs/KPIs aligned to Service Scope & Practice Standards to improve timeliness and accuracy.
- Lead operational and service reviews to drive clear decisions and accountable action plans.
Operations
- Lead end-to-end delivery across Procure to Pay, Finance Systems Support, General Accounting, and Statutory & Compliance; run a predictable, accurate month-end close.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective & preventive actions; improve quality, cut cycle time, rework, and cost-to-serve.
- Maintain strong controls and documentation; stay audit-ready; manage risks and issues early to reduce findings.
People
- Hire, onboard, and lead a high-performing team with clear goals, strong coaching, and accountability.
- Develop talent through feedback, capability building, and career pathways to strengthen retention and succession readiness.
- Plan capacity and cross-train teams to protect close timelines, ensure continuity, and support sustainable workloads.
Enablement (Technology & Compliance)
- Own the controls and compliance agenda to reduce operational and audit risk.
- Run a governance cadence to accelerate decisions and issue resolution.
- Partner with RPOs and technology teams to improve data integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum requirements
- Owned finance service delivery in a BPO/GCC/shared services/GBS model—met SLAs/KPIs, managed escalations, and improved stakeholder satisfaction.
- Demonstrated end-to-end P2P and R2R execution (close governance, reconciliations, issue management, controls) with minimal defects/rework.
- Delivered a predictable month-end close and reporting—on time, accurate, and repeatable across multiple entities and/or countries.
- Sustained audit-ready controls and compliance—reduced findings, closed gaps, and managed auditor/statutory interactions to completion.
- Led continuous improvement (standardization, root-cause, automation) that measurably improved quality, cycle time, and cost-to-serve.
- Built and led high-performing teams (hiring, coaching, performance, workforce planning), improving capability, engagement, and retention.
- Influenced senior stakeholders using clear insights and risk-based recommendations; drove decisions and follow-through.
- Maintained high integrity and confidentiality when handling financial data and sensitive information.
Highly preferred
- Successfully supported APAC stakeholders across time zones/cultures while maintaining service levels and close outcomes.
- Demonstrated working exposure to Philippines statutory & tax requirements (e.g., BIR/PEZA) and supported timely, accurate compliance deliverables.
Nice to have
- Led finance transformation end-to-end (ERP/reporting enhancements, controls uplift, automation) and delivered adoption with sustained performance gains.
- Partnered with Finance/Tech to translate requirements, execute controlled changes, and improve ERP/reporting data quality and integrity.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or related field
- Currently in a Senior Manager equivalent or above position
- Proven 15+ years delivering finance operations outcomes (P2P, R2R, Finance Systems, Compliance) in multi-entity and multi-country environments
- Proven 10+ years directly leading teams in a shared services/GBS/GCC/BPO model—improving performance, capability, and retention
- Proven expertise in supporting and enhancing our organizational culture, developing talent capabilities, and executing effective performance management.
- Demonstrated transformation delivery within shared/global business services (process standardization, automation, or ERP/reporting changes)
- Demonstrated accountability for service delivery governance—achieving SLAs/KPIs, running operations and service reviews, and closing escalations
- APAC regional support experience and Philippines statutory/tax exposure (BIR/PEZA/BOI)
Preferred
- CPA/CMA/ACCA (or active progress toward)
- Hands-on experience with major ERPs and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI/Tableau/SIGMA)
OTHERS
- Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment (At least 3 days in the office)
