Job Summary
The Senior Manager for Facilities Management Services is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the facilities and infrastructure of an organization. This position involves managing various aspects of facility operations, maintenance, and improvement, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies, in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization while maintaining high service standards.
- Lead and supervise the facilities management team, including facility managers, maintenance personnel, administrative staff, and contractors. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including office buildings, warehouses, manufacturing plants, or other properties. Ensure proper maintenance, safety, and compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and maintenance. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and address any issues that may arise.
- Ensure all facilities meet health and safety standards and implement protocols to create a safe working environment for employees, tenants, and visitors. Develop and execute emergency response plans to handle crises effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards. Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management regarding facility performance, expenses, and project status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- At least 8-10 years proven experience in facilities management, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
- Licensed Engineer (Required)
- Willing to be assigned in Legazpi City, Albay
