Job Summary
The Senior Manager for Business Development oversees the management and execution of assigned projects, ensuring financial feasibility, operational efficiency, and effective inventory control. This role is pivotal in conceptualizing high-quality residential developments and assessing their overall business viability. Responsibilities include conducting market research and competitor analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive projects from initial concept through approval. The position also entails preparing business cases, financial models, and strategic presentations to support informed decision-making, while maintaining alignment with company objectives and evolving market demands.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the company's Business Development Group and oversee the planning, execution, and management of key Business Development functions
- Inventory Management (Sales Administration): Oversee inventory planning, pricing, unit releases, sales administration coordination, and inventory optimization to support sales targets and maximize project profitability.
- Business Plan Preparation and Review (Financial & Market Study): Lead the preparation, evaluation, and review of business plans, including financial feasibility studies, market research, demand analysis, pricing strategies to support management decision-making.
- Project Management: Direct and monitor the end-to-end project development process, ensuring alignment with approved business plans, project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and cross-functional deliverables from project inception through launch.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any Business-related course.
- With at least 10 years of progressive experience in Business Development and/or Project Development within the Real Estate industry.
- Preferably with exposure to and active participation in real estate organizations, industry conferences, and regulatory engagements (e.g., Colliers, DHSUD, SHDA, CREBA, and similar industry forums).
- Strong background in Financial Analysis and Project Feasibility Studies.
- Proficient in Market Research, Market Intelligence, Demand Analysis, and Competitive Benchmarking.
- Demonstrated expertise in Project Management, with proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present business cases and recommendations to senior management and executive committees
