About the Role/Project

To further strengthen our Laboratory Digitalization Consultancy team within Smart Manufacturing, we are looking for Life science LIMS Consultant with a strong background in the life sciences industry and digitalization within Quality Control or other laboratories in Pharmaceutical industry.
You will join our European Laboratory Digitalization team where you will be co-responsible for executing the strategy for growing this area in NNIT, through business development and thought leadership activities, as well as taking lead consultant roles in client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of LabVantage LIMS and related laboratory digitalization projects.
- Translate business and functional requirements into comprehensive solution designs, including preparation of Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), configuration guides, and system documentation.
- Perform advanced configuration, workflow orchestration, and customization activities using Java, SQL, and Groovy scripting.
- Collaborate closely with validation and quality teams to ensure compliance, traceability, and adherence to GxP and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and project team members, ensuring quality and consistency across solution delivery.
- Manage and coordinate interactions with software vendors and internal or external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business development and presales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal contributions, and client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge of laboratory processes, especially within quality control, manufacturing, technology transfer, and product development.
- Proven experience leading laboratory digitalization / automation initiatives within life sciences; pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred.
- Handson experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), with strong preference for LabVantage experience.
- Solid technical foundation with scripting and database expertise (e.g., Java, SQL, Groovy, C#).
- Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of life sciences modalities, pharmaceutical product lifecycle, and the endtoend value chain.
- Interest in contributing to client relationship growth through business development, presales, and postimplementation support.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice to have:
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and integration with laboratory systems.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and platforms for scientific or operational data insights.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in laboratory automation, data processing, or predictive analysis contexts.
