Role Description

This is a contract position for a Senior Java Software Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, with a focus on microservices and Java-based applications. Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, implementing scalable and efficient solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting technical issues. This is a full onsite role based in Makati.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Software Development, Programming, and Java
• Ideal candidate must have 8 years of experience or more in Java Development.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and related design patterns
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC
• Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions in an enterprise environment
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid work environment
• Amenable on a full onsite work set up in Makati.
