We are offering a hybrid work arrangement! The company will also be providing the PC and equipment needed. Although during your first month(or until the HLM approves of the transition), you will be reporting on-site to complete company and/or client-required trainings. With this, the following requirements will be required prior the on-boarding:
- Minimum of 25mbps internet speed (actual bandwidth via speed test)*higher than 25mbps would be required if there will be other people in the household who would be either working from home or heavily using the internet during your shift
- Dedicated space or room with good ventilation for the PC set-up.
- Table that can fit two 24 monitors and a chair, ideally positioned close to the outlet and internet modem
- Work from home location is within NCR.
What are some of the responsibilities
- Innovative design and analysis of enhancements
- Deliver code based on sprint commitments
- Actively participate in discussions, coding, and testing.
- Develop core web application changes using JAVA and XSL
- Present application enhancements to the team
- Collaborate with Tech Leads to align on design strategy that will achieve business goals of the user story while ensuring technical integrity
- Creative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients
What are the ideal requirements
- 5+ years extensive backend development experience using Java and SQL
- Exposure to microservices is an advantage
- Familiarity with building services in a distributed architecture (Professional, coursework, or project experience is a plus)
- Knowledge ofHTML, CSS, and Object-Oriented Programming (Experience with React, XML, and Relational Databases like Oracleis a bonus)
- Experience withLinux, Git, or other version control systems, andAgile Development Methodology
- Highly motivated, innovative, self-directed thinker with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with current trends
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Bonus: Experience with Atlassian tools
- Open to graveyard shift
