Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot, Microservices)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Java Developer based in BCG, Taguig. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for developing high-quality application code, implementing technical solutions, and contributing to architectural decisions. This role also includes leadership responsibilities such as mentoring team members and driving engineering best practices.

• Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
• Develop and maintain scalable applications using modern frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems
• Promote best practices in engineering, CI/CD, and automation
• Lead, mentor, and support team members

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, React, and SQL/PLSQL
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
• Experience with Microservices & REST APIs
• Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes
• Exposure to GCP or OpenShift
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, pipelines)
• Familiarity with TDD/BDD frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong knowledge of Git (GitHub/Bitbucket)

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI frameworks like Angular or ReactJS
• Knowledge of DevOps tools
