Job Description

Objective of the Position

The primary objective of this role is to implement global solutions aligned with Ivoclar Group standards, technologies, and processes in collaboration with globally distributed teams. The position also focuses on continuous improvement of software solutions and services by partnering with Consultants and Project Managers across the organization. Additionally, the role assures international 2nd and 3rd level support for global applications and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement global solutions according to IV standards and processes.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for global applications and internal customers.
  • Analyze IT problems and specific application requirements to deliver effective solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications, including interface and data integrity requirements.
  • Participate in development and review of test data and business cases.
  • Implement technical solutions using appropriate development languages (Java SE, Java EE, Swing, JavaFX, Hibernate, SQL, and web technologies).
  • Maintain application portfolio by applying software fixes, new releases, and migrating custom applications.
  • Follow company development methodology, documentation, and testing standards.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to exceed operational excellence goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety manuals, personnel handbooks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a role model in accordance with Ivoclar Group Corporate Values.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and conceptual IT solution design skills.
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives and develop supported positions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and platforms (Java SE/EE, Swing, JavaFX, Hibernate, SQL, web technologies).
  • Degree in IT technology or business management (Engineering diploma or MBA) or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable working experience.
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused personality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in virtual and distributed teams.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, flexible, and resilient.
  • Willingness for on-call support and international travel (up to 20%).
  • Strong presentation and teaching skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
