The primary role is to lead and execute complex IT audit engagements across the organization, with a focus on cybersecurity, IT general controls, application controls, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Plan and perform audits of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud environments, data governance, and application systems.
- Evaluate IT general controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and system configurations.
- Conduct risk-based audits and identify control gaps, vulnerabilities, and improvement opportunities.
- Assess cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) and practices across the organization.
- Ensure audit activities comply with SEC (Securities Exchange Commission) and BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) regulations, as well as internal IT governance policies.
- Support regulatory audits and provide documentation and responses as needed.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
- Present findings to IT and business stakeholders and support issue resolution tracking.
What You Need To Have
- At least 5 to 6 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or technology risk management, preferably in banking or fintech.
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001), cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Knowledgeable in utilizing data analytics (SQL, Excel) in conducting review
What Can Set You Apart
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
- Knowledge and exposure to Philippines laws and regulations i.e., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) policies, other relevant local law in regard to e-money services and digital lending is an added advantage.
- Experience in Risk Management and Compliance is also an added advantage
