Job overview:
- This role focuses on core infrastructure services across on-premise and hybrid environments, including Linux systems, networking, load balancing, and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
- You will work closely with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot issues, improve operational efficiency, and maintain stable, scalable infrastructure.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Own and support critical infrastructure operations in high-availability production environments.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident response during outages and service disruptions.
- Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders during operational events.
- Drive automation and process improvements to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
- Build and improve internal tools that make operations more efficient.
- Maintain clear documentation for procedures, configurations, and environments.
- Join an on-call rotation that supports a 24/7 operational environment.
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years supporting production infrastructure in critical, high-availability environments.
- 3+ years of Linux administration experience across RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar Unix systems.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, load balancing, reverse proxies, and SDN.
- 3+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Hands-on scripting or automation experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Plus Points if you have:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies.
- Certifications such as RHCE, CKA, or AWS.
- Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, and EKS is a plus.
