Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead IT projects and support initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues for end-users and clients.
- System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and administration of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard data and IT infrastructure.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems, and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior IT support staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective delivery of IT services.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or a related role, MSP experience would be an advantage, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking, hardware, and software troubleshooting. Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
- Attention to detail and ability to resolve issues with high level of troubleshooting skills
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network, Microsoft Az-104 or 305, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading IT teams and managing projects.
Work Schedule - Shifting:
- US shift - Monday to Friday, 8:00pm -5:00am, Philippine Time
- UK shift - Monday to Friday, 4:30pm - 1:00am, Philippine Time
- PH shift - Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, Philippine Time
