With at least 5 years experience in electronics/semicon manufacturing company
With experience in designing and optimizing factory floor plans, focusing on efficient material flow, space utilization, and productivity using Lean/Six Sigma, simulation software (like AutoCAD, Simul8), and data analysis, machine installation and project management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design & Optimization: Create/redesign facility layouts for equipment, machinery, and workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime, waste, and awkward movements.
Process Improvement: Apply Lean/Six Sigma to streamline processes, improve material flow (internal logistics), and reduce bottlenecks.
Simulation & Modeling: Develop simulation models (digital twins) to test layouts, validate designs, and plan future capacity.
Collaboration: Work with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Automation teams for smooth project execution and integration of new tech (e.g., robotics).
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data through time studies, observations, and surveys to support design decisions.
Project Management: Manage layout projects from concept, specification, and validation through implementation.
Software: AutoCAD, Simulation tools (e.g., Simul8), MS Office.
Methodologies: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Ergonomics.
