Position Overview:
This role is newly created to front-end Off-shore Initiative ensuring end-to-end Employee Life Cycle Management supporting business. To Create, Manage and provide a full range of Human Resources service delivery, including staffing, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, policy, teambuilding, learning & development, communications programs, talent management and workforce planning, labour compliance, HR & Payroll audit, etc.,
Key Responsibilities
- Work with line management to assist with business plans that support the goals and objectives of the Philippines
- Manage recruiting of local staff to meet current and future staffing requirements in the Philippines. Consult with senior line management to identify manpower plans. Identify various candidate sourcing avenues, traditional and non-traditional methods, to find qualified candidates and achieve specialized recruiting needs.
- Prepare new hire employment contracts and related documentation; coordinate candidate background checking/verification; coordinate benefits enrollment/participation; and conduct new hire orientation.
- Gather data, research HR best practices and provide recommendations on changes and enhancements to existing HR policies and programs.
- Provide counsel on compensation and reward strategies including setting hiring salaries, structuring competitive pay packages, promotional recommendations and communicating various compensation programs.
- Ensure compliance with local HR legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and coordinate the setting up of new HR processes, procedures and documentation for efficiency.
- Conduct exit interviews; analyze trends; and provide appropriate staff retention recommendations.
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the company's payroll and local service provider.
- Support and coordinate various corporate-wide HR programs/initiatives for implementation in the Philippines.
- Explain, counsel and follow up with employees on HR policy issues. Investigate and follow through on all employee relations issues.
- Develop and conduct training for line managers/employees on a variety of HR programs and initiatives.
- Identify and assess service providers for HR programs and services (e.g., recruiting agencies, benefits providers, etc.).
- May provide office management support.
Key Qualifications
- MBA in HR or equivalent master's degree in human resources management.
- Relevant Experience: 10 - 15 Years of hands-on HR experience managing a workforce size of not less than 300.
- Experience working in a start-up, building teams/functions from ground zero.
Key Skills
- Strong analytical skills in core HR disciplines, including compensation, benefits benchmarking, employment, and data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in conflict resolution and handling highly sensitive issues and situations.
- In-depth understanding and application of local employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Extensive hands-on experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and modern applications, as well as HRMS and HRIS systems (such as ADP, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or Zoho). Proficiency in at least one HRMS is essential.
