Senior Fullstack Developer (.Net)

The Senior FullStack Developer is responsible for developing our cloud products using incremental development techniques across the entire stack. You'll be working on a primarily modern .NET codebase, but we have a large presence in AWS and do a lot of work with Node.js. Picking the right tool for the job and getting it done is central to this role.

As well as developing high-quality solutions using best practices, you will also be expected to be an active contributor to the design of the solutions, as well as being expected to actively participate and input into the process (Agile). Whilst predominantly a development-focused role, it is expected that you will also be actively contributing across the entire delivery cycle, from design through to deployment, and supporting the squad in delivering high-value, high-quality sets of functionality on a high-frequency basis.

As a developer, you will be working with one of the company's leading SAAS products and will be on a continual delivery cycle of features and functionality. In addition to development activities, you will likely get your hands dirty with AWS DevOps tasks as part of the squad, which is self-sufficient and fully responsible for its deliveries.

Responsibilities

• At least 10 years of full-stack development experience, with experience primarily in modern .NET codebases.
• Developing high-quality, well-unit-tested sets of functionality
• Being involved in performing code reviews for others
• Working with the AWS platform to deliver high-value, highly available, and highly scalable solutions, both web and web service-based
• Active contribution to the design of the solutions
• Working collaboratively with the Architects to validate solution designs
• Being proactive to identify/prototype the best solutions/technology sets necessary to deliver the right outcome
• Being responsible for or contributing to the deployment mechanisms and the release of the solutions
• Keeping current on the latest development technologies and techniques
• Guiding/mentoring/supporting others in the squad
• Working with Scrum Master and Product Owner to identify issues, risks, delays, blockers etc
