About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to building high- performance web applications using modern technologies. You'll work across the stack with a strong emphasis on frontend development and AWS backend services. If you're passionate about TypeScript, AWS, and building apps the right waythis role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Build interactive, performant frontend apps using Qwik, TailwindCSS, and DaisyUI
- Write infrastructure-as-code and backend services using AWS CDK, AppSync
- (GraphQL), and Lambda
- Contribute to design, architecture, and implementation decisions
- Collaborate with a lean team in an agile, async-friendly environment
- Review code, write tests, and help improve developer experienceDevelop highly interactive and performant frontend applications utilizing Qwik, TailwindCSS, and DaisyUI.
- Engineer backend services and infrastructure-as-code using AWS CDK, AppSync (GraphQL), and Lambda.
- Actively participate in the decision-making process for design, architecture, and implementation.
- Work collaboratively within a small, agile team that emphasizes an asynchronous work style.
- Contribute to code quality and developer experience through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Technology Stack
- Frontend: Qwik, TailwindCSS, DaisyUI, and TypeScript.
- Backend: AWS AppSync (GraphQL), Lambda, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.
- Infrastructure: AWS CDK (utilizing TypeScript) and GitHub Actions.
- Languages: Primarily TypeScript (100%), with experience in GraphQL schema design.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience developing modern web applications using TypeScript.
- Strong grasp of React-like frameworks, component architecture, and client-server communication.
- Familiarity with GraphQL and best practices for API design.
- Bonus: Experience with AWS CDK, AppSync, Lambda, or DynamoDB.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Qwik or similar resumable frameworks (e.g., Astro, SolidJS).
- Prior experience working in a startup or small team setting.
- AWS certifications or significant expertise in cloud-native technologies.
