Responsibilities
About the role
In this role you will own the creation, establishment, and implementation of coding standards in the team. You will help drive programming and problem solving excellence through proven best practices. You will learn, collaborate fully remotely, and grow with internal dev teams, Product Managers, and industry leaders.
What You'll Do
- Take ambiguous business concepts and flesh out details needed to quickly prototype and iterate.
- Proactively take ownership in resolving issues and areas of possible concerns even if they are not explicitly stated or obviously visible.
- Perform critical ground up features development tasks. Work mainly on a high-value application with two major modules; algorithm-driven onboarding process and learning management system.
- Contribute in the planning, analysis, design, and eventual implementation of migration legacy build into modern tech stack.
- Establish, document, and implement coding standards. Build and drive the use of proven best practices to ensure the team's work is always at an optimum level of quality.
- Details out design and documentation to educate junior developers and perform code reviews as necessary.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Senior to Lead level expertise in ReactJS and NoSQL (serverless) development is a must. Proven depth and extent of experience in building massive, complex, and critical-mission applications is necessary.
- At least beginner or intermediate level experience in ExpressJS. Combination of Angular+ NodeJS or React+NodeJS is highly considerable.
- Strong knowledge and experience in serverless development is a must. AWS experience is a major advantage.
- Strong experience in application design, analysis, and development is a must. Experience in distributed application development is a major advantage.
- Proven ability in technical leadership - establishing coding standards, design and build patterns, documentation guidelines, and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
