Job Title: Senior Financial Planning & Analyst - VCT Analysis
Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,000 gross USD per month
Location: Permanent Remote (Primarily U.S. Central Time Hours)

About the Value Creation Team (VCT):
The firm's Value Creation Team (VCT) consists of professionals with diverse expertise across different functional areas, including strategy, finance and accounting, corporate development, capital markets, and talent management. The VCT is dedicated to managing the firm's value creation efforts to drive business performance and growth in partnership with portfolio company management teams.
Position Summary:
The VCT is seeking a technically proficient, analytical, and detail-oriented professional to collaborate with portfolio company management teams to support the Office of the CFO (OCFO) initiatives. This individual will play a crucial role in developing KPI reporting packages and dashboards, while also assisting with other high-impact FP&A projects and initiatives. Additionally, this individual will support the recruitment and training of nearshore and offshore FP&A resources placed at the portfolio companies to accelerate the workstreams described above.
This position provides high visibility across multiple portfolio companies, offering broad exposure to various industries and unique business scenarios. Responsibilities:
Aggregate and organize financial and operational data to develop comprehensive KPI reporting and dashboards that provide actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making
Complete KPI gap analyses to identify limitations in the data and reporting environment, helping portfolio company management teams develop strategies to resolve identified gaps and drive automation
Build and refine templates and processes related to FP&A and KPI reporting
Partner with portfolio company CFOs and the VCT on special projects and strategic initiatives
Help recruit, mentor, and train nearshore and offshore FP&A employees at portfolio companies
Education & Experience:
Superior academic achievement at a top-tier undergraduate program
5+ years of experience in financial due diligence, FP&A/corporate finance, investment banking, and/or private equity
Skills and Character Traits:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, charts/visualizations, data cleansing, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
Solid understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and key metrics
Experience working with messy or disparate data exports from multiple systems
Experience building KPI dashboards and working with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Strong ownership mentality with the ability to self-manage and actively contribute
