What is the job

The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for serving as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations to guide resource allocation, investment decisions, and business growth. The role is responsible for leading annual planning, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling, while driving improvements across FP&A systems and tools.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary finance partner for functional leadership, providing tactical insights, challenges, and recommendations.

Influence resource allocation, investment prioritization, and trade-off decisions with clear, data-driven analysis.

Lead financial planning processes, including budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Build and maintain financial models and conduct sensitivity analyses to evaluate risks, opportunities, and strategic impacts.

Deliver analysis of financial results and KPIs, translating them into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

Drive process improvements in FP&A systems, tools, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Partner with Accounting and non-financial teams to ensure consistency, alignment, and accuracy of financial reporting.

Act as a thought leader within FP&A, elevating its role as a strategic business partner.

Qualifications:

Experience using Microsoft Excel and any financial modeling system.

Resourceful problem solver, comfortable using AI tools to improve analysis and reporting efficiency.

Experience building robust models and delivering data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.

Work independently, overcome roadblocks, and conduct root cause analysis.

Detail-oriented, organized, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Demonstrates strong business insights and understanding of end-to-end operations.

Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence executive decision-making.

Screening Criteria

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of five (5) years of progressive FP&A or finance experience.

Must have a stable employment history.

Desired Qualifications

CPA, CFA, or enrollment in a related certification program is a plus.

U.S.-based accounting experience is a plus.

Experience applying accounting principles and U.S. GAAP for U.S. companies is a plus.

Supervisory or leadership experience in accounting, BPO, or member services is preferred.
