Role Description

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading the Finance Department in the Philippines and ensuring the financial integrity, sustainability, and regulatory compliance of Alba Renewables Philippine operations. The role provides strategic financial leadership across all business units and project companies while supporting executive management in financial planning, investment decisions, business growth, and operational excellence.

The position oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, taxation, audit, financial controls, project financial management, procurement governance, and risk management. The Senior Finance Manager also mentors and develops the Finance Team while serving as a trusted business partner to Senior Management.

What You'll Be Doing

As Senior Finance Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across all finance functions, including:

• Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. 
• Overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and statutory compliance. 
• Ensuring timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting across multiple business entities. 
• Strengthening internal controls, corporate governance, and financial risk management. 
• Providing financial oversight for renewable energy development and construction projects. 
• Supporting investment evaluations, commercial negotiations, and strategic business initiatives. 
• Managing relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders. 
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing Finance team while driving continuous process improvement. 

Qualifications

• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with experience in managing multi-entity or project-based P&L and cash flow.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or equivalent), financial reporting, and internal controls, with proficiency in tools such as Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to interpret and apply tax and regulatory requirements in the Philippines, and work with external advisors when needed.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring finance staff and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy 
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, and 5 years in a finance leadership role
• Relevant experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or asset-heavy industries is an advantage.

Candidates with the following experience and qualifications will be looked on favorably:

• Experience in the renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities or regional operations.
• MBA or Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in multinational organizations or high-growth companies.
