Job Description

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Perform annual salary surveys for small, large and complex countries/regions within the assigned scope of responsibility in collaboration with the vendors based on a given timeline.
  • Evaluate the Bayer jobs using the survey provider's/vendor's methodology (WTW, Mercer, KF, Aon, etc.) and collaborate with the country for alignment, if necessary.
  • Ensure the overall data quality of the survey submission
  • Upload survey results per country in MarketPay and ensure the quality of the Bayer data in the tool
  • Address any validation queries that the vendor may have related to the salary survey submitted.
  • Provide TR benchmark data upon request
  • Monitor external vendor's service quality according to identified standards
  • Maintain and update reference document/s used within the team and globally such as Iving Wages file and Global Job Catalogue using own in-depth knowledge and expertise on the subject matter.
  • Run ad hoc job pricing requests in the defined format and timeline
  • Contributes and sometimes lead process improvement initiatives within the Total Rewards Benchmarking space, with focus on harmonization, standardization, and automation.
  • Provide consultative guidance to assigned Country TR Experts on Benchmarking topics
  • Provides support to the Global POC on Living Wages data.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on major processes or activities with impact spanning Global like Global Job Catalogue update/review and MarketPay. Participates and occasionally leads on small projects and activities within the team, function, country and region.
  • May lead small projects and activities within the team, function, country and region.
  • Train new team members of the team (Associate, Senior Associate, Expert) and update training materials needed.
  • Review salary survey submission files of Associates, Senior Associates and Experts in the team and provide expert opinions on various aspects in salary survey.

Who You Are

  • University Degree in any field
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in HR and as a compensation/total rewards analyst performing market benchmarking activites for a Global Company and/or as an HR consultant for WTW, Mercer, Korn Ferry, AON, Birches Group, and other HR consulting firms.
  • Has an experience in conducting Salary Surveys, Job Leveling, Salary Bands Analysis, Market Analysis, Benchmarking process and trains junior member of the team.
  • Has an experience handling and leading projects in an organization with global scope.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office especially in Excel, and other IT applications e.g. SharePoint, PowerApps etc.).
  • Has a knowledge on compensation tool/s like MarketPay or similar application.
  • Excellent English language skills orally and in written form for direct communication with Global, Regional and Country TR Experts.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build long term partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong ability to devise and develop solutions with little oversight
  • Ability to work independently with little to no guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency
  • Team player with strong social and intercultural skills and a hands-on mentality
