Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior E-commerce Specialist with strong analytical and operational experience to help optimize pricing, inventory management, and overall performance of our Shopify-based Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business.

This role will work closely with internal teams to analyze product performance, improve store operations, and identify revenue growth opportunities across the business. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working with Shopify and U.S. DTC brands and is comfortable making data-driven decisions that directly impact revenue, conversion rates, and operational efficiency.

The role requires a highly analytical mindset, strong Shopify expertise, and the ability to take ownership of store performance metrics and optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze product performance, SKU profitability, pricing trends, and sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth

  • Monitor and optimize store KPIs including conversion rate (CVR), average order value (AOV), revenue per visitor, and product performance

  • Optimize Shopify store structure, product listings, collections, tagging, and merchandising strategy to improve discoverability and sales

  • Manage and optimize pricing strategies across SKUs to improve margins and competitiveness

  • Analyze inventory levels, sell-through rates, and stock forecasting to ensure optimal product availability

  • Identify underperforming SKUs and implement pricing, bundling, merchandising, or promotional strategies to improve performance

  • Monitor store performance through Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and reporting dashboards

  • Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives including product page improvements, checkout optimizations, and A/B testing opportunities

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure alignment between campaigns, product availability, and pricing strategy

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-backed improvements to increase store efficiency and revenue performance

  • Maintain dashboards and reports that track weekly and monthly e-commerce performance metrics

  • Stay up to date with Shopify ecosystem tools, apps, and industry best practices

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, analytics, or Shopify store management

  • Strong experience working with Shopify stores and U.S. Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands

  • Proven experience analyzing SKU performance, pricing strategies, and product profitability

  • Experience managing inventory planning, product catalog structure, and merchandising

  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and online store performance metrics

  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data, customer behavior, and store performance metrics

  • Strong proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and analytics tools

  • Experience using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar reporting tools

  • Excellent attention to detail and structured problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with high-volume Shopify stores or Shopify Plus

  • Experience with pricing optimization and inventory forecasting

  • Familiarity with Shopify apps and integrations (Klaviyo, Recharge, Gorgias, etc.)

  • Experience collaborating with growth, marketing, and operations teams

  • Experience implementing conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments

  • Experience mentoring junior team members or helping manage store operations
