Lead application & database setup, configuration and implementation at the Main Data Center & Backup Recovery Center.
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard database information and business user&aposs data against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation & testing of new products and improvements to computer systems such as the installation of new databases.
Review procedures in database management system manuals in the event there are changes to be done in the database.
Qualifications
Preferably graduate of BS Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or other IT related courses.
Experience in Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Knowledgeable in operating systems, such as Windows, RHEL, HP-UX, Oracle Linux or AIX
With at least 4 years experience in database administration.
Flexible and willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
