Senior Data Scientist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our AI & Analytics organization in Manila. This role sits within the Transformation function at Teleperformance Philippines and focuses on solving real business problems using data science and analytics.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and business orientation matter far more. Prior healthcare experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role, not a people-management role. You will work closely with business, operations, and transformation stakeholders to deliver solutions that create measurable impact.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Own problems end-to-end —> from identifying the opportunity to delivering and measuring impact

• Quickly understanding client business models, operations, and pain points

• Identify business problems that can be solved using data science and analytics

• Leverage existing data sources and identify new data sources to increase solution value

• Design and deliver diagnostic, predictive, and ML-assisted analytics solutions

• Use SQL, Python, and advanced Excel to analyze datasets and generate insights

• Build basic machine-learning models where appropriate

• Work closely with operations and transformation teams to deploy solutions

• Track, measure, and optimize solution performance

• Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Act as a trusted data science & analytics partner

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to understand the lay of the business & identify opportunities for projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and advanced Excel

• Understanding of basic machine-learning concepts

• Ability to translate analysis into business insights
