Your Role:
- Lead Data Science Initiatives: Drive strategic decision-making and product innovation through advanced analytics and AI solutions.
- Model Development & Deployment: Design, validate, and implement scalable machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Experimentation & Insights: Conduct rigorous experimentation and extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and analytics teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
- Data-Driven Strategy Support: Provide analytical rigor and insights to guide business strategy and improve decision-making.
- Focus on AI & Advanced Analytics: Emphasize model accuracy, scalability, and impact rather than basic data handling.
- Model Development & Deployment: Build and deploy robust machine learning models using Scikit-learn and XGBoost, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Forecasting & Analytics: Apply statistical and ML techniques to extract insights and forecast outcomes using tools like Prophet and Statsforecast.
- AI Innovation: Research and implement advanced AI approaches, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multimodal LLMs, to address emerging business challenges.
- Data Engineering & Platforms: Leverage Databricks, with Snowflake and PySpark as non-strict requirements, and strong proficiency in SQL and Python required for advanced data analysis and model deployment.
- Best Practices: Maintain high standards in code quality, documentation, testing, and reproducibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate new methodologies and technologies to enhance modeling capabilities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration: Partner with developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to embed insights into workflows and drive data-informed decisions.
- Adaptability & Curiosity: Rapidly learn new tools, techniques, and domains to deliver high-impact solutions.
What You Need
- Strong programming experience in Python (minimum 5 years).
- Proven ability to develop, deploy, and manage machine learning models end-to-end in production.
- Experience in monitoring and optimizing model performance in production environments.
- Previous experience as a Data Scientist in a professional setting.
- Hands-on experience in data collection and cleaning from disparate data sources to prepare datasets for analysis and modeling.
