iSupport Worldwide is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist, Game Economy to help shape, optimize, and scale the economic systems behind our partners live mobile freetoplay (F2P) game portfolios. In this role, you will collaborate with Product, Game Design, LiveOps, Analytics Engineering, and Data Engineering teams to ensure that our partners ingame economies drive longterm retention, engagement, and monetization.
We're looking for a highly analytical expert with strong hands-on experience in mobile F2P game economies, experimentation, and player behavior analytics.
Responsibilities
Economy Analytics & Strategy
- Analyze and recommend improvements to currency flows, pricing models, rewards, scarcity, and progression pacing.
- Support long-term economy balance and health.
Feature & LiveOps Performance
- Evaluate the performance of events, promotions, seasonal content, and engagement loops.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to guide iteration.
Experimentation & Causal Inference
- Design, execute, and interpret A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Define metrics, guardrails, and segmented experiment readouts.
Modeling & Forecasting
- Build predictive models for LTV, churn/retention, conversion, and player spending behavior.
- Support forecasting and scenario planning.
Player Segmentation
- Develop behavioral and lifecycle-based player segments for personalization and monetization strategies.
Dashboards & Decision Support
- Partner with Analytics Engineering to define KPIs and create scalable dashboards for product and design teams.
Data Collaboration
- Work with Data Engineering on event taxonomy, instrumentation completeness, data quality, and curated datasets.
Communication & Stakeholder Influence
- Translate complex findings into clear business narratives for product, design, and leadership stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of data science or analytics experience in the gaming industry (mobile F2P or PC).
- Demonstrated experience with game economy analytics.
- Strong applied statistics and experimental design foundation.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience designing and interpreting A/B tests and presenting results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on casual or midcore mobile games with a strong LiveOps cadence.
- Expertise in LTV modeling, cohort analysis, and survival analysis.
- Familiarity with telemetry pipelines and BI tools.
- Experience with Snowflake, GCP, or other major cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AutoML tools.
- Understanding of UA/marketing measurement and its connection to ingame economies.
