About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Specialist to join our growing team. This position is primarily focused on Data Analytics (80%) with a complementary focus on Business Analysis (20%). The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights, developing scalable reporting solutions, and supporting strategic business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
This role is ideal for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage stakeholders, understand business requirements, and deliver impactful analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analytics and Business Intelligence (80%)
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Build and optimize data models, datasets, and reporting frameworks.
- Perform advanced analytics and exploratory data analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Develop automated reporting and data solutions using SQL, Python, Azure, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across reporting and analytics platforms.
- Monitor and improve the performance of BI solutions and data processes.
- Support the organization's digital transformation initiatives through innovative analytics solutions.
- Business Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement (20%)
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into effective analytical and technical solutions.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and maximum 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Management, or Business Analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience working with Azure data and analytics services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven experience delivering analytics and reporting projects in a fast-paced environment.
Advantage To Have
- Microsoft certifications such as PL-300, PL-400, PL-600, or DP-203.
- Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
- Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or CCBA.
