The Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling operational excellence by translating business needs into data-driven insights and scalable solutions. This role partners closely with operations, support, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex data sets, automate reporting and processes, and deliver actionable insights that improve efficiency, service quality, and decision-making.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, advanced technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and Python, and the ability to clearly communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. This position operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and supports global teams under a fixed night shift and hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations, support, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear analytical solutions, reports, and dashboards
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and data models to support operational performance monitoring and decision-making
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries (including joins, CTEs, and performance tuning) to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets
- Develop Python scripts and automation tools to streamline recurring reports, data processing, and support workflows
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user stories, business requirements, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams by clearly explaining data insights, trends, and recommendations
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data quality enhancements
- Support cross-functional projects through effective stakeholder communication and collaboration
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably supporting operational or support-focused teams
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL experience, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and query performance optimization
- 4+ years of experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and dashboard development
- 2+ years of experience using Python for automation, data manipulation, and scripting
- 3+ years of experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
