About the Role:
The Data Analyst turns operational and business data into trusted insight for AI-enabled workflows, analytics products, and leadership reporting. This role partners with engineering, platform, and AI teams in a modern cloud-data environment to define KPIs, build measurement frameworks, improve data quality, and support decision-making in a regulated enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, baselines, and target outcomes for AI-enabled workflows and operating models.
• Analyze structured data from enterprise platforms using SQL and Python, with a focus on workflow performance, productivity, quality, and adoption.
• Build reporting views and dashboards using data sourced from AWS and cloud-data platforms such as S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, and Databricks.
• Clean, transform, validate, and document data used for operational reporting, analytics, and downstream AI or ML use cases.
• Identify bottlenecks, anomalies, and workflow improvement opportunities that can be addressed through automation or AI-driven decision support.
• Partner with engineering teams on data governance, lineage, quality checks, and metric standardization.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate data into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, operations analytics, or a related role.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for analysis and data preparation.
• Experience working in cloud-based data environments, ideally AWS.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following: Redshift, Athena, S3, Glue, Databricks, or PySpark.
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting data quality, governance, or regulated reporting environments.
• Exposure to AI, process automation, or workflow transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise planning/reporting tools such as Anaplan.
