SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud Developer

Role Summary:

The SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise scale eCommerce and B2B platforms using SAP Commerce Cloud. The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high performance solutions while integrating with SAP ERP and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).

• Customize and extend Hybris core and custom extensions using Java and Spring.

• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with SAP ERP and other backend systems.

• Implement ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, CronJobs, and Backoffice configurations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, including performance and data issues.

• Support deployments, upgrades, and environment configurations.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, reviews, and adherence to standards.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint delivery.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud

• Java, Spring / Spring MVC

• Hybris core concepts:

• Extensions

• CronJobs

• ImpEx

• FlexibleSearch

• Backoffice / Cockpits

• Integration experience with SAP ERP / S/4HANA

• RESTful APIs, XML, JSON

• SQL and relational databases

• Version control (Git / Perforce)

• Build & CI tools (Ant, Maven, Jenkins)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• SAP Commerce Cloud (Public Cloud) experience

• OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) APIs

• Azure / AWS exposure

• DevOps & CI/CD pipelines

• B2B commerce domain experience

• Performance tuning and production support experience
