Senior Counsel

Job Description

Responsible for providing strategic legal support to the organization across corporate transactions, project development, and governance matters. The role leads the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts related to mergers and acquisitions, energy and water projects, land transactions, and other corporate initiatives. It supports due diligence processes, advises management on legal risks and regulatory requirements, and collaborates closely with business, finance, and project teams to ensure legally sound business decisions. The position also ensures compliance with corporate governance standards and manages relationships with external counsel and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor.
• At least 8–10 years of advanced expertise in mergers and acquisitions, energy, water, and land transactions, with a strong focus on corporate legal affairs and risk management.
• Ability to manage high-value and complex transactions independently.
• Advanced negotiation and deal structuring skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and risk management capabilities.
