PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review Purchase Order (PO), bill of materials (BOM) and production routing data to ensure cost accuracy for inventory valuation.
- Prepare and maintain monthly inventory reports including inventory roll forward, inventory reconciliation, scrap reports, etc.
- Perform accurate, timely and efficient account reconciliations and detailed COGS analysis each month-end / quarter-end close, including detailed fluctuation analysis.
- Partner with Logistics, Sales Operations to provide solution from the perspective of product costs, inventory accuracy, and supply management.
- Work as a liaison with European entity and provide support from the perspective of product costs, inventory accuracy and supply management.
- Work with IT teams to ensure cost accounting systems are accurate and up to date and reporting is robust to allow for ad hoc analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and external audit requirements regarding inventory and cost of goods sold.
- Support annual inventory physical count and annual cost roll function
- Complete ad hoc inventory valuations analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience), CPA/CMA or advanced degree in related fields a plus.
- 5+ years experience in Accounting and Finance; Experience in manufacturing setting is a plus;
- Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and operational flows.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel. Experience with SAP S4 HANA, Power BI, or other finance applications or visualization tools.
- Detailed oriented with the highest regard for accuracy and completeness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadline;
