Job Summary:
Drives transformation efforts within the planning function by leading automation initiatives, scenario modeling, and project-based assignments. Supports regulatory financial planning requirements and continues improvement of planning process and tools.
How will you contribute:
- Develops and implements automations solutions using tools such as Excel macros, Power BI to improve generation and data preparation processes.
- Designs and maintains scenario templates for stress testing, capital planning, and business simulations.
- Supports preparation of regulatory planning submissions, including ICAAP and the Recovery Plan.
- Collaborates with Senior Officer for Financial Planning and Division Head to identify and improve current processes.
- Leads special projects and ad-hoc initiatives that require cross-functional planning or financial modeling.
- Ensures proper documentation, version control, and knowledge transfer of tools and models used by the Team.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements/rules and Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA) rules/regulations.
- Keeps abreast of updates on BSP policies as stipulated in the Manual of Regulations for Banks (MORB) and Bank policies as specified in the Money laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MTPP) through circulars, required seminars/programs and adheres to said policies.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields
- At least 3 to 5 years in financial planning, process improvement, and/or regulatory reporting and frameworks
- Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, and basic data automation tools, process-oriented, detail-focused, and solution-driven
