SR. COPYWRITER JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop creative concepts and write engaging copy for advertising campaigns, social media, websites, print materials, scripts, and other marketing collateral.
Work closely with art directors, designers, and marketing strategists to ensure messaging consistency across platforms.
Adapt tone and style to suit different audiences, industries, and brand guidelines.
Research industry trends, target audiences, and competitors to inform copy development.
Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and grammatical precision.
Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity, messaging goals, and campaign objectives.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh and impactful ideas.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, SEO best practices, and consumer behavior.
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
ROLE SPECIFICATION: The Sr. Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive written content that supports marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and brand storytelling. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong command of language, capable of transforming ideas into impactful messages that resonate with diverse audiences. The Copywriter will collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure alignment of tone, strategy, and visual direction across all communication channels.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, or related field.
Proven experience in copywriting, preferably in an advertising agency or marketing environment.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Strong understanding of branding, tone of voice, and storytelling across multiple platforms.
Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
Ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences and industries.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with designers, strategists, and clients.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects within deadlines.
Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.
