Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site role for a Senior Civil Engineer located in Bacolod. The Senior Civil Engineer will be primarily responsible for site supervision and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of civil works. Responsibilities include overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and safety standards, conducting inspections and material checks, and monitoring workmanship quality on-site.

The role also involves coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, identifying and resolving site issues, and ensuring that all works are completed in accordance with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead site engineers and inspectors to maintain strict QA/QC implementation throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in civil engineering design, structural analysis, and construction management
• Experience with project planning, feasibility studies, and technical reporting
• Knowledge of environmental and safety standards, as well as quality assurance practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or other engineering design software
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications or licensure (e.g., PE or equivalent) preferred
• Familiarity with the energy or infrastructure sector is a strong advantage
• Willingness to work on-site in Bacolod
