About The Opportunity
This role plays a key part in supporting QIAGEN's global commercial organization by translating complex sales and financial data into meaningful insights. You work closely with Sales, Finance, and other global stakeholders to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. The position offers broad exposure across commercial operations, opportunities to influence global standards, and the chance to contribute to data-driven decision-making at scale.
Your tasks include
- Prepare standardized materials and templates for the monthly sales forecast and the annual budget cycle.
- Calculate and administer sales commissions for global sales teams, and lead commission reviews with Sales leadership.
- Create business review and performance reports to support sales teams in preparation for customer meetings.
- Deliver ad‑hoc data analyses and translate findings into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define procedures and align local processes with global standards.
- Develop analytical models and reports, including price–volume analysis, portfolio and customer trend analysis, and deviation analysis.
Your profile
- University degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial, sales, or commercial operations, preferably in an international environment.
- Proven experience supporting projects related to financial or sales operations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively to different audiences.
- Advanced Excel skills with experience building complex analytical models; proficiency in Access and PowerPoint.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL and confidence handling large data sets.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and numerically inclined, with a structured and solution-focused mindset.
