Overview
Lhoopa is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Business Analyst to partner closely with the Chief of Staff and senior leadership in driving strategic priorities, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This role goes beyond analysisserving as a thought partner to leadership, owning complex analyses, guiding junior analysts (if applicable), and helping translate strategy into execution. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Business Insights
- Lead end-to-end strategic and financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Translate complex datasets and business problems into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Define, monitor, and interpret KPIs and performance dashboards aligned with company objectives.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities across business units. Operational Excellence & Execution
- Partner with the Chief of Staff to drive high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
- Lead process reviews, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable solutions to improve operational performance.
- Develop business cases, ROI models, forecasts, and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Establish best practices for reporting, performance tracking, and analytical rigor across teams.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leaders and functional teams (Business Development, Construction, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, Account Management) to align priorities and track execution.
- Serve as a trusted analytical partner and liaison between the Chief of Staff and business units.
- Lead the preparation of executive-level materials, including board decks, investor updates, and strategic presentations.
Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Play a key analytical role in debt financing, fundraising, market expansion, and other strategic initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and industry research to inform growth strategies.
- Support ad hoc strategic projects requiring advanced analysis and executive-level judgment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 58+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, corporate strategy, or high-growth startups.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL and/or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills; ability to influence through data and storytelling.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and working directly with senior leadership.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and taking ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
