Senior Business Analyst (FP-ALMS Initiative)
Location: Mandaluyong, Manila, Philippines (Hybrid onsite 3x/week)

About FP-ALMS company's Treasury's financial planning and decision-making capabilities by transitioning from individual Excel-based financial models to a unified web-based platform integrating financial projection models including CECL, ADF, AIF, and ALMS.
Key objectives include:
- Streamlining financial projection processes via a centralized platform
- Enhancing data consistency through an upgraded Treasury data mart
- Automating data integration across systems
- Reducing reconciliation and reporting effort
- Modernizing reporting through BI dashboards and self-service templates
About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in enabling company's strategic financial projections and multi-scenario planning. Working closely with the Treasury Department and project stakeholders, the BA will assess the current landscape, map end-to-end workflows, and define business and data requirements to support accurate, timely, and efficient forecasting across portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
1) Product Team Practices Improvement
- Improve BA practices by identifying process pain points, evaluating solutions, and strengthening stakeholder alignment.
- Introduce user-centric practices to increase engagement and adoption of product enhancements.
2) Business Analysis and Solution Design
- Lead requirement elicitation sessions and workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
- Define and optimize end-to-end business processes and workflows.
- Develop and present solution options and recommendations.
- Produce comprehensive requirements documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.
- Support QA activities including test case/scenario/script preparation.
- Coordinate with testing teams and business users during UAT.
- Track defects/issues and ensure timely resolution throughout delivery lifecycle.
- Collaborate with vendors to refine requirements, review solution designs, and manage issue resolution.
- Define source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules aligned with business logic.
3) UX and User-Centric Design
- Apply user-centric design principles across deliverables.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes to visualize user journeys and requirements.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and developers to translate business needs into intuitive solutions.
4) Tools / Software
- Advantage: familiarity with Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate).
- Proficient in MS Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio).
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma) is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in:
- Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science / IT, Management, Applied Mathematics (or equivalent)
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years in a Business Analyst role within financial services / banking
- At least 5 years experience designing and documenting business processes
- At least 5 years experience in QA/testing IT applications
- Experience in UI/UX design and implementation rollout
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Must have experience in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
- Minimum 2 years experience in data analysis using SQL
- Minimum 2 years experience in financial systems
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of Product Delivery Life Cycle
- Working knowledge of data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience developing end user training materials
- Familiarity with IT processes/procedures
- Agile/IT project management knowledge (ITIL, Prince2, PMI, Agile preferred/certified)
Soft Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
- Able to work with internal/external stakeholders and vendors
Certifications (Preferred)
- Business Analysis, Agile, UX, or Product-related certifications
- Strong understanding of BABOK (IIBA certification preferred)
