JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST, ANCILLARY
As a Business Analyst for our Ancillary team, you will be the driving force behind our new product launches and tactical campaigns. You will focus on delivering the best customer experience by enhancing our ancillary services like Baggage, Seats, and Insurance. You will perform deep-dive analysis to identify pricing revenue opportunities and assess initiative effectiveness to recommend improvement opportunities, ensuring that our initiatives are always top-notch.
WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION:
You will keep a close eye on revenue performance for both online and offline channels and perform root cause analysis to develop corrective strategies that deliver results. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be crucial in reviewing price change impact to Take up Rate & Revenue per pax on a regular basis, ensuring that our pricing strategy is always competitive.
You will be responsible for developing campaign promotion mechanisms that support both local and regional campaigns and performing impact assessments to optimize results. Your role will involve driving and supporting product innovation that brings a better value proposition to our customers. Additionally, you will consolidate and rationalize product enhancement needs and commercial initiatives to ensure our ancillary services are always meeting the needs of our customers.
Collaborating with different stakeholders like Marketing, Product, Data Science, Operation, and Cluster team is essential to ensure the successful execution of commercial initiatives. You will be managing projects that require complex planning and integration of multiple tasks and details, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Monitoring market conditions and competitor activities will be part of your role, and you will identify opportunities for new ancillary products or services that will benefit our customers. You will also be responsible for monitoring ancillary data and reports to identify any problems that may need to be addressed immediately. You will coordinate and work with other departments like Ground Operations, Customer Happiness, Marketing, and Ancillary Pricing to ensure that ancillary product sales and operations are running smoothly.
Finally, you will develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports and highlight any changes. You will translate data into strategic insights and communicate the results with the team to help decision-making. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience with our ancillary services.
WHO YOU ARE:
Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
Strong experience in the same capacity is required for the role
Excellent communications skills. Making sure that communication is working well between all the different departments
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Excellent presentation skills, delivering results and ideas to different stakeholders in the business
Good problem solving skills. Able to think outside of the box and come up with quick solutions to problems.
Able to keep one eye on the competition, staying up-to-date where necessary
Able to travel when required
