The
Senior Bid Coordinator helps raise the quality of our bidding practices and bid submissions by guiding teams through WSP's Business Development Integrated Management System. This role allows the wider bid team to focus on developing winning strategies and client-focused content, increasing WSP's win rate.

Senior Bid Coordinator to join our Clients & Growth Team
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with the Clients & Growth team to prepare proposal matrix plans to meet Clients objectives and determine the compelling win messages needed throughout a proposal.
- Obtaining support from other departments (including Marketing, HR, Commercial & Technical) as required in preparing the proposal.
- Coordinating proposal scheduling and planning
- Review and evaluate the proposal documents, including technical, financial, and guide on any risks realised.
- Supporting multiple business sectors to plan, develop, and submit high-quality bid submissions
- Populating non-technical sections and standard company inputs to tenders
- Proofing and tailoring pre-written content
- Working with technical teams to develop bespoke bid content
- Engaging internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of technical inputs
- Coordinating publishing team to design, publish, and submit professional bids
- Contribute, participate and provide support on the continuous process improvement of the Strategic Manila Team.
- Coaching emerging bid professionals in best practice bid coordination.
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications (minimum and desirable):
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience
Experience, Capabilities & Competencies:
- Typically, 6-10 years experience in bidding, marketing, communications, or journalism
- Experienced in coordinating and preparing proposals and expressions of interest
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Experience in MS Teams, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in professional services is preferable
- Strong attention to detail and efficient organisational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a sense of humour
- Approachable, adaptable and presents a professional image
- Balances quality with delivery to timelines
- Navigates ambiguity and change
- Collaborates, shares knowledge and is persistent
