Nature and Scope of Role:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a critical member of the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) FP&A team and will assist with financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The role requires someone who can leverage data and analytics to generate business insights and decision support, communicate effectively, identify and drive improvements, and build strong relationships within the finance organization.
Job Details:
- Set-up: Hybrid (minimum 4x RTO per month may vary depending on team meetings, company events, etc.)
- Schedule: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM PH time (adjusts to 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM during month-end closing - first week of the month)
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Leverage analytical and system expertise to organize and interpret large datasets, translating them into meaningful insights for business decision-making.
- Partner with the FP&A team to deliver variance analysis, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management.
- Prepare monthly reports including key metrics, financial results, and variance analysis.
- Consolidate data across all plants for plant-level scorecard reporting.
- Gather and analyze financial information to identify P&L and working capital trends.
- Communicate risks and opportunities versus plan and recommend actionable strategies to improve performance and returns.
- Support monthly and annual forecasting processes for segment headquarters and/or divisions.
- Collaborate with Senior FP&A Analysts in delivering financial analysis, reporting, and project support.
- Build templates, schedules, and presentation decks on an ad hoc basis as required by business needs.
- Assist in monthly and annual forecast preparation for the PES segment headquarters.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
- Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and the client's accounting policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- At least 10 years of FP&A experience
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with BI tools, OneStream, or other consolidation/reporting systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and issue-resolution abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Experience in variance analysis and annual budgeting processes
- Global manufacturing experience is strongly preferred but not required
- Strong analytical ability to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- Experience in leading and executing continuous improvement initiatives
