Position: Senior Backend TypeScript Developer

Location: Philippines based

Job Type: Full-time |remote (WFH)

We are seeking aSenior Backend TypeScript Developerwith5+ years of backend development experienceto design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing server-side applications. You will take ownership of backend systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend services usingTypeScript and Node.js
• Design and implementscalable RESTful APIs(GraphQL is a plus)
• Make architectural decisions focused onperformance, security, and scalability
• Work withSQL and/or NoSQL databasesand ORMs
• Implementauthentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Write and reviewteststo ensure reliability and code quality
• Participate incode reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions
• Support production deployments and ongoing system improvements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong expertise inTypeScriptandNode.js
• Experience with backend frameworks such asNestJS, Express, or Fastify
• Solid experience withdatabases(PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize)
• Strong understanding ofAPI design, backend security, and performance
• Experience withGitand collaborative workflows

Nice to Have

• GraphQL, Redis, Docker, CI/CD, or cloud experience
• Exposure to microservices or event-driven systems
• Experience mentoring junior developers

- Office Location: Panabo City, Davao Del Norte

- Preferred Applicants: Residents of Panabo City, Davao City, or within the Davao Region, VisMin

- Work Schedule: 3 PM 12 MN

- Weekends Off: Fixed
