Job Description
Job Type: Independent Contractor / Fixed / Dayshift
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)
Arrangement: Hybrid setup
Location: Mandaluyong (Near SM Megamall)
Salary: Up to 170,000 per month
About the role:
The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for driving end-to-end test automation activities, including automation strategy, framework development, script design, automation execution, maintenance, reporting, and handover activities.
Scope of Work:
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and test cases to identify automation opportunities and define automation scope.
- Perform automation feasibility assessments, POCs to recommend optimal automation solutions.
- Collaborate with Automation Architects and stakeholders to recommend automation strategies, tools and standards.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation components using tools like DataDog.
- Automate testing across Web/UI, API, Database, Desktop, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
- Integrate and execute automation suites within CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
- Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot failures, analyze results, and ensure script stability and maintainability.
- Manage test assets, execution results, defect lifecycle, and reporting in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Software Testing
- Hands-on experience in automation tools and platforms such as DataDog, Power Automate, and other industry-leading automation solutions
- Proven experience in designing, developing, executing, and maintaining enterprise-level test automation frameworks and solutions
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and enterprise application environments
- Certification in automation testing is an advantage.
- Experience in Financial Services and Banking domain is an advantage.
