We are seeking a dedicated and experienced audit professional to join our team as a Senior Audit professional. We expect our senior associates to demonstrate strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team, guiding junior associates, and contributing to the overall success of the engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the execution of high-quality audits, including planning, risk assessment, testing of internal controls, substantive procedures, and reporting.
  • Apply expert knowledge of US GAAP and internal accounting control principles to complex audit areas.
  • Review and finalize financial statements, as well as evaluate client-prepared financials in accordance with professional standards.
  • Manage medium-sized audit engagements (46 clients per season), ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead communication with both internal teams and US counterparts, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor junior associates and interns; oversee onboarding and provide feedback to support development.
  • Serve as a role model by consistently upholding firm values, promoting accountability, and ensuring high standards of client care.
  • Guide teams through change, recommend task adjustments, and resolve issues through effective root-cause analysis.
  • Manage small teams or workgroups, balancing multiple priorities while delivering accurate results under tight deadlines.
  • Adhere to firm policies and procedures while recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 3 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting or a related field, with at least 1 year of US audit experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic financial statements and audit procedures
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
  • Excellent technical skills across a broad range of accounting and audit issues
  • Proven ability to lead engagements, mentor junior team members, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple high-demand projects at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software (CCH is a plus)
