Join Our Team as a Marketing Executive at Ciena
Are you ready to make a business impact, collaborate with a great team, and unlock opportunities for growth Ciena is seeking a talented and motivated marketing executive to join our International Field and Partner Marketing organization. In this role, you will work closely with sales, engineering teams, channel and carrier managed services partners, and vendors to deliver impactful marketing campaigns and programs across Southeast Asia.
How You Will Contribute
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams across time zones to deliver high-quality marketing programs.
- Execute regional marketing campaigns and events, including email marketing, social media ads, digital display advertising, and smaller-scale events with sponsorships.
- Compile, analyze, and report data on the success of marketing programs.
- Adapt existing regional and global marketing content to resonate with Southeast Asia customers.
- Navigate tools such as Office365, Salesforce, Zoom, ChatGPT, and marketing project management systems to support project collaboration and research.
- Balance multiple projects while ensuring cross-functional collaboration with geographically distributed stakeholders.
The Must Haves
- 3 to 5 years of marketing experience in Southeast Asia.
- Written and spoken English fluency.
- Proven ability to execute marketing projects across digital marketing or event planning.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Confidence in working within a virtual, sales-oriented, and cross-functional environment.
- Self-sufficiency in learning and using marketing and collaboration software.
- Social intelligence or curiosity about Southeast Asian business cultures.
- Highly organized and motivated self-starter.
Nice To Haves
- Fluency in Vietnamese, Bahasa (Indonesia or Malaysia), or Thai.
- Familiarity with the telecommunications, cloud, or AI infrastructure landscape in Southeast Asia.
- Experience in B2B marketing, activating trade show sponsorships, or organizing B2B events with 50+ attendees.
- Prior experience in partner marketing or field marketing within an indirect go-to-market model.
