Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments.
- Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations.
- Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end-users.
- Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management.
- Manage escalations related to operational topics.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 811 years of experience in application support, production support, or a related IT operations role
- Strong experience in SQL scripting, including joins, queries, functions, and stored procedures
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
- Solid experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management
- Experience using service management and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
- Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Experience in release management and working within Agile development environments
- Exposure to programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple incidents, operational tasks, and projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
