Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments.
  • Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations.
  • Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end-users.
  • Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management.
  • Manage escalations related to operational topics.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 811 years of experience in application support, production support, or a related IT operations role
  • Strong experience in SQL scripting, including joins, queries, functions, and stored procedures
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
  • Solid experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab and Jenkins
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management
  • Experience using service management and collaboration tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
  • Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Experience in release management and working within Agile development environments
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple incidents, operational tasks, and projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
